On Sunday, September 13, 2026, Lorette Golf Course welcomed some of Manitoba’s golf content creators for the first-ever Manitoba Golf Creator Invitational.
The Manitoba Golf Creator Invitational was created to bring Manitoba’s golf and creator communities together for a day of competition, content creation and connection. It was an opportunity for local creators to meet one another, showcase Manitoba golf and introduce their audiences to new players, personalities and businesses within the province.
Most importantly, we wanted to create an event that felt competitive while still being welcoming, collaborative and fun.
A Different Kind of Golf Event
The invited players competed in teams of two over 18 holes.
The opening nine holes were played as a two-person scramble, allowing each team to settle into the competition and work together. For the second nine, the format changed to alternate shot, adding more pressure and putting every team’s communication and teamwork to the test.
Throughout the day, players were also capturing their own videos, photos and behind-the-scenes moments. This combination of competitive golf and content creation gave the event an energy that was different from a traditional tournament.
The players embraced the format, supported one another and helped make the inaugural event a tremendous success.
Showcasing Manitoba’s Golf Community
MBGCI was about more than deciding a winner.
The event was designed to help build connections between Manitoba golf creators, golf courses, local businesses and the audiences who follow them. It gave participants a chance to collaborate, reach new viewers and share different perspectives on golf in our province.
From the competition on the course to the conversations, interviews and content being captured throughout the day, the first Manitoba Golf Creator Invitational showed just how much creativity and enthusiasm exists within our local golf community.
We are incredibly grateful to every participant who accepted an invitation, supported the idea and helped bring the event to life. The energy and enthusiasm they brought to Lorette Golf Course exceeded our expectations and gave us an exciting foundation to build upon.
Planning is already underway for the 2027 Manitoba Golf Creator Invitational.
