Drive for a Cure 2026 Returns to Lorette Golf Course on August 9
Some days on the golf course are about chasing a personal best. Others are about something much bigger.
On Sunday, August 9, 2026, we're proud to once again host our annual Drive for a Cure fundraising tournament at Lorette Golf Course—a day that brings our community together to enjoy golf while supporting an incredibly important cause.
Every year, golfers, families, volunteers, and local businesses come together to help make a real difference, and we're excited to continue that tradition in 2026.
Golf for a Great Cause
Drive for a Cure supports Cancer Care Manitoba, with 100% of donations going directly toward cancer research and patient care here in Manitoba.
Thanks to the generosity of our participants over the years, this event has continued to grow and make a meaningful impact. Whether you're playing in memory of a loved one, supporting someone currently battling cancer, or simply looking to give back, your participation helps make a difference.
Tournament Details
📅 Date: Sunday, August 9, 2026
📍 Location: Lorette Golf Course
⏰ Tee Times: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
⛳ Format: 9-Hole Scramble
Golfers of all ages and skill levels are welcome. Register as a foursome, threesome, twosome, or even as an individual—we'll pair singles and smaller groups to create foursomes.

Registration Information
Golf Fees (Prepaid when booking your tee time)
Green Fee: $35
Power Cart: $15 per player(mandatory for pace of play)
Lorette Golf Course Members: No green fee(cart fee only unless you have a cart membership)
Event Entry Fee (Paid at check-in on tournament day)
The tournament entry fee is $35 per person, which includes:
$25 donation to Cancer Care Manitoba(tax receipt issued)
$10 toward tournament prizes
Additional donations are always welcome and greatly appreciated.

We're already collecting an exciting lineup of silent auction items and prize donations, with more being added every week.
Whether you're bidding on auction items, participating in contests, or simply enjoying a great day on the course, every dollar raised helps support Cancer Care Manitoba.
