Marathon Monday Results!

On Monday July 27, 2026 we took part in Marathon Monday at Lorette Golf Course.

Marathon Monday is an event that helps to raise money and awareness for the Canadian Cancer Society. The challenge was to play 100 Holes of Golf in one day and raise as much money as we could.

Who played the 100 Holes? Gareth Tanswell, the GM of Lorette Golf Course, Corey Jonasson - Marketing Manager at Lorette Golf Course, and Cheryl Inch - Local Golf Content Creator.

We played the 100 Holes as a best ball scramble and started with hitting our first balls off the first tee around 5:30am, and finished up our last around 6:30pm.

With your help we raised over $4000, such a great contribution to this important cause.

How did we play?
After 100 holes we shot 29 under par. Including 36 Birdies and 2 Eagles (both of which we’re on Hole 4)

Did we have a great time? Of course we did! It was also so great to have all the support from everyone on the course all day. Whether it was claps and high fives, or letting us play through to get around quicker.

We just want to say thank you all for the support and the donations you made for this event, and hopefully we can get out there again next year and do it again!
